Hi folks, I am back... I know it has been a while, I'm sorry for that. I have some updates regarding the engine.
It turned out that the old lifters couldn't handle the new cam, so last summer I decided to open up the 1795cc....
long story short: I am building a 2.4 type 4 now....

Indeed, it is pneumatic. And it took some cutting and welding to put the new shocks in place

To take the caravan to the meetings I mounted High-Jackers (load-adjusters), to trim the rear suspension. Bumpers are not ready yet

A black rubber trim wil be mounted on the bumpers, so I think that would look nice on an orange bumper. Same thing we did on ur white german beetle. I just prefer body cooured bumpers:-)

Well, the project is not really completed. Interior needs to be built up, and the bumpers still need some orange paint. But yes, it felt great to drive a 412 for the first time!!

And Yesterday we went to my brothers work, to do some final checks. Doors are almost finished now, frames are sprayed and the central doorlocking mechanism works smoothly.

Looking very good, the orange is growing on me as for the eber, they are fantastic! Don't use a lot fuel, I had the figures somewhere but why worry if you keeps you warm...
