Lack of pulling power

I've got a standard 1970 vw type 3 running twin carbs. Recently I've had the cutch changed, and since then when the car gets hot e.g. After about 10 miles I loose almost all of my power. So flat out the car is juddering along at 50mph. A new fuel pump has been fitted, fuel pipe from front to rear ha...

I've attatched a couple of pictures of my one and I can't seem to find one that is the same. Both th...

Hi Danny,
How much are you selling the lenses for?

Thanks for the offer about Bath Pete, however I'm still in Leicester until the 30th, then driving straight to dubaid:)

Broken Indicator Lense

Hi, I'm hoping you can give me some advice, today some eejit managed to break one of my front indicator lenses on my 1970 fastback, but in doing this they also managed to snap one of the connecting bits of metal that its screwed into. Window Winder Mechanism

Hi,

I've got a 1970 Fastback and does anyone know where to get a new drivers side window winder mechanism as the current one's pretty much knackered and the glass is forever sliding off it!

Thanks

Re: Late fasty not starting

Cheers for the help, got the car running today. Think it was the solenoid in the end and so replaced the starter motor and hey-presto the cars going again:)

Late fasty not starting

Hello,
The cars been running fine up until this evening, the starter motors turning over, however the engine won't turn over.
Tried replacing the coil, but no luck there. There's no spark to the spark plugs, or from the HT lead to the coil.
Any ideas on what it might be?
