Re: Rear seat belts on a 68 square?

Thanks Dave, I've ordered 500/30 inertia for the front, the ones left over seemed to be missing mounting brackets, they had seen better days. I will switch the stactic ones to the back. There are a total of six 17mm bolts under the seats. Plus 2 that were under plastic caps. I'll figure it out. I'll...

Re: The Colonel is coming home

At that price I would expect chrome, could buy another square for that, albeit a very rusty one.

Re: The Colonel is coming home

Thanks both, Lotus white it is then! That was easy. I'll be keeping the interior stock and refurbishing it when it arrives back. And thanks Chino, my Dad was a car restoration guy, also built a few hot rods in his time, so I have witnessed bad and unsafe work in my early days when he was pulling car...

Re: Serious work on 68 square.

Thanks for the pics Paul, you may well have seen the picture on T3D Facebook page, with the lower right back gone.... I think only one wing will be kept at this point, I have just agreed to replace the front wings. The car was not in great condition when I bought it, and after blasting most of the b...

Re: White Squareback AKA The Colonel work in progress

The list of parts needed keeps growing!!! new NOS front panels, back half of a donor car coming from California, the bottom 6 inches of the car need to be cut out and replaced. So the roof is solid.....oh and the engine is in good shape..... but at least it will be safe and done right.

Re: my 68 squareback finally home

Hi Brian, mine is a white RHD sunroof, its at his fab shop, so maybe not around his workshop. Paul has ordered the back half of a rust free californian car and a set of front NOS panels for me. I decided to go for a solid build up and to get the car solid rather than patch it up. I needed to sit dow...

White Squareback AKA The Colonel work in progress

For those of you who know this car I wanted to update on the work in progress. The car has been with T3D for a while now, I have been pushed with work and moving house so I have been quite relaxed to let things go their own pace. Well the car has been blasted in preparation for some welding and new ...
