73 Fastback

Got my 73 fastback last summer and enjoyed though what little of the good weather we had. Not done a great deal with it yet. Replaced nearly all the engine service items straight away and had fun with it. However towards the end of last year it started running poorly so over winter out popped the en...

Re: Wheel width and fitment

Was thinking the opposite, ET41 banded because the others are going be either 41 or lower offset maybe up to ET31 beetle ones giving more poke without banding.

Re: Wheel width and fitment

Thanks, its a late 73 currently one notch down at the front and standard rear. Plan is to go a as low as possible on the standard beam and get the rear to match.

Wheel width and fitment

I want to put steels back on my Fastback (currently running tatty 2 litre alloys it was purchased with) and have acquired some beetle steels. I was thinking of having the rears banded to 5.5j from the standard 4.5j. Has anyone done this or know if it will fit without causing any issues?

Thanks

Indicator woes

Please help

My hazards work fine off the hazard switch flashing both the indicator bulbs and the green lights on the dash

However when using the indicator stork to signal left or right the green lights on the dash light up but do not flash and nothing happens in the indicator units

Any ideas?
