Thanks for the replies. Turns out a little piece of rubber I had used to sit the generator on had been sucked the air hole and stopped it spinning! One fan belt later and a lesson well learnt!
Thanks

Where can you buy Coco / sisal car mats from??
Does anyone have any idea if you can buy coco car mats from anywhere other than the states? Ideally somewhere in the UK. I've trawled the net for weeks but having no luck.

Cracking explanation mike cheers, i dont have any shutters flaps connected on either think they were removed by previous owner. Do you think if i just blocked up the foot vents it would be enough to encourage the heat upto the windscreen??

Hi, cheers for your reply. Yep valve is working fine as is lever for rear heat. Getting a good flow of air from both right and left sides just the left side doesnt get warm. Is there a way to differentiate whether its the heat ex or the thermosta??

Hi, so the two slider controls on passenger and driver side A pillars are connected to valves for footwell heating?? can you possibly post a picture or explain where exactly i can access them. The only footwell control i can find is the lever to the left of the handbrake?
Thanks
