yer defiantly was! is a whole lot brighter now I ordered l20d and got that :S but im very happy with it! best way I can think to describe it is burnt orange :P

couldn't agree more its almost like modern cars a specifically designed to be dull haha and thanks certainly took a fair while to get the home-made panels looking/fitting right but there was no way my budget would allow any panels to be bought in so no choice really :) https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akam...

right so who approves of this? and can any one confirm weather its an original VW one? supposed to be clementine orange (L20D) but for some reason it looks a bit modern for a 70s colour. I thought that might be the case any one who has FB feel free to add jezza wise profile pic is a red bug yer not really worth the effort if the originals can be saved but as you saw mine were way to far gone for patches yer I was quite pleased with them there not any where near as good as when it ro...

you can say that again best way to learn in my opinion :) haven't used any replacement panels just fabricated everything from sheet steel other than the floors where I used bug pans for a head start :) haven't been online for ages tho so hear are the more up to date pictures https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-...

this is very true I could not belive the price of them when I eventually found some and as only the front qauters of the floor need replacing I have knoked up a pair from bug repair panels for less than a quarter of the price and a whole day of chopin and welding :) I think they turned out okay http...
