Re: Engine part identification

PP - many thanks for the explanation. Now if i'd had done it that would have been a bodge, but as is I think it's a tidy alternative :)

Any downsides from original? I think the carbs were fitted when it was imported to the UK as I assume it was originally FI, which may explain why there's no choke.

Engine part identification

Good evening all - so I've been routing around the engine bay whilst sorting out a heater problem and noticed something that looked out of place, some copper pipe. I'm not much of a mechanic so just wondered if someone could tell me what the copper pipe does. http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv187...

Welcome back Paul this is just the place for inspiration and a load of good advice. I bought a 69 squareback 2 years ago after selling my bay window.

My 69 SB

After removing the wrong bolts from my bonnet I've finally managed to get it sorted. I'll be posting a few more shots as it progresses. I've just purchased a polisher so I'm going to go over the bodywork, not after a concours as it's a daily driver. Then I'm getting my newly acquired short back seat...

Re: removing the front seats from a T3

This came at just the right time, replaced the high backs with short backs in my 69 SB this weekend and would have been stumped.

Becoming a club member

Hello all,

I've just been reading the information sticky about how to become a club member and was wondering whether payment over the Internet had been arranged yet, as I don't have a cheque book.

Thanks in advance Paul
