Re: 411 1972 Wiper motor

Didn't know that. I don't think I would be up for removing the wiper motor, a bit to much Athritis in the hands. Thank you for the info.

Re: 411 1972 Wiper motor

I guess that seems obvious, should give more detail... The live feed from the fuse to the wiper motor switch has a male to female connector situated just behind the clocks in the dash. I'm guessing it's been done to aid the removal of the wiper motor should the need arise.!

Re: 411 1972 Wiper motor

Cheers Dave. Had to get my head under there anyway. Wipers not working but fuse not blown. Seems there is a live feed from the fuse to the wiper switch. This had become disconnected.

Unleaded fuel

Hi when I purchased my 411 last summer I asked the previous owner if I could run the car on unleaded fuel. He said it was ok due to this type of vehicle being designed for the American market, and they had introduced unleaded. Is this fact or fiction???

Re: Tatton park 5 August

I wouldn't have a clue how to organise this type of event. It's going to be touch and go if I'm there in my type 4, still filling and preping. Will be there regardless even if I'm in my Focus. Need to visit the Auto jumble.
