So I'm going to order track end rods etc for my 72 fastback.... My question is how do I know what thread to buy? There's options for RH and LH threads... Little bit confused here lol.

which fuse?
hi guys was just wondering which fuse is it or what do i need to get for my rear brake lights? both have stopped working, when i put my head lights on the rear bulbs light up but when u press the pedal they dont come on. any ideas?

No the bumpstops havnt been removed.. that I was awere anyway.... I didn't think of the shocks...there newly fitted standard kgb shocks...they could be bottoming out? What would be the cure for that? On the drive shaft subject that was just a guess as my watercooled vws always suffered from drivesha...

Chassis notch?
Hi guys I've lowered my fast back 2 splines at the back and the drive shafts seems to hit the body on rough bumps etc... Anyone else experiences this and how did u combat it? I know some will say raise it... But for those who didn't did u do a chassis notch or is there another way?

Ok so you might of remembered see saying about starting issues before...well I changed the ignition switch but it hasn't solved the starting issues.. These issues are..turn the key you get clicks but not starting. Some days she fires straight up others you have to kick start it by touching the start...

Popping on idle
Quick question...when the car is up to temp and I'm sitting in traffic or at lights...you can hear some popping from the exhaust...but not when cold...she had recently had a tune up and runs spot on..this just happens when idling...anyone come across this?

Leaking after washing??
So.. I've just washed the fastback... Took it for a drive as u do..and turned a corner and water was pouring out of the black box under the dash board! Any ideas how to sort this?

I want to freshen up my cooling on my 72 fastback. I've been looking at thermostatsbut some state they are for an upright engine. Which is the right thermostat and fan and belt etc for our type 3 engines?

Thanks guys for the help....I've since had the car on a ramp and we noticed the heating ducts/tubes that go from the exhaust and attach to the body are missing...so need new ducts and the wires that open the flaps..

Ok thank you...silly question how do i know if the knobs are closed.. there's a blue arrow on it.. turn it left there's a solid arrow and right there's just an outline of the arrow.
