We'll be at both the Chilli Farm show (Saturday) and Kent VW fest (Sunday) this weekend for those wishing to buy GnC tickets.

What floor you having fitted? Was in the flooring game for about 15 years before i saw sense and became a lay about, sorry fireman :roll: Might be able to help you out if it means getting another car in the line up, and some cheap work on my motors :lol:

Basically i've had every other type of vw i can think of and never seen anything that i can think this glass would be from :oops: it could be from a later water cooled model but again i wouldn't have a clue, will post a photo later this weekend so you can all laugh at me :lol:

does anyone have an 'up close' shot of the 1/4 light windows at the front please? Think i've got a pair in my garage but not sure to be honest :roll:

just a follow on really, how much oil should a 1500 enigne take from empty? I'm thinking one of the reason she won't start now is i've put too much oil in and she can't get the compression she needs? Haven't really done much to her since the last post other than hide her away in the garage for the w...

The leads weren't taken off at first, and when i did i made sure it was only one at a time so they're def' in the right places :) Am getting a spark, wasn't at first or it was very weak so i changed the coil for another one i had, that was still poor but a tad better so i went and bought a new one. ...

Got a '66 Notch, drove it home from Bug Jam and the next time i went to start her, nothing :? turned out to be a lead had come off the starter motor, simple enough really so no hardship there.
