Did type3 swing axle cars come with long or short torsion bars???? My spring plates have a long tube on them, but I have seen short tubes and have been sold some aftermarket spring plates that are 2" lowered already with short tubes like a beetle? Swingaxle bushes/donuts which do I need
I need to replace the rear bushes on my 66. Is a type3 the same as a type1 in this respect? Are the bushes both knobbly when you pull the the plate off? This picture seems to show but when I go onto VWHeritage website it states one is round and smooth and one is knobbly http://i16.photobucket.com/al...

Firestone - overpriced old design. I'm using Toyo 135r £30 each with a better newer design, Toyo on the rear too.

I am now running 135r on the front and 195/70 on the rear with 1" spacers and inner arches removed due to serious wide stance

I can put an amp in the bonnet, but I need the speakers placing some where without cutting metal,.... If I could find someone with the old moulds I could take a mould from that,...Under tray is bamboo so no good.

i think i want to take advantage of the lovely pound/dollar conversion and order a nice full tmi interior for my fastback. anyone know who best to order from in the states. vw heritage, are they competitive? if anyone does know of someone over here doing nice interiors at sensible prices im all ears...
