The twin carbs work well with their balance pipe - even with one carb not doing anything, as long as you're not trying to keep it idling. If it's the accelerator pump nozzle, acceleration and pick-up might be a bit sluggish. Look down in there and work the accelerator. There's the main jet outlet, ...

when you look down the right hand side carb the two small brass jets that fire the fuel down into the carb.....one of the brass jets is missing.... but the car runs great and goes like hell.... wanting to drive to action next weekend and didnt weant to start delving etc in case i f##k something up.....

ok just to explain this next bit when i was rebuilding the no-floor, heat exchangers, sills, in fact most of the friggin floor and 10 inches up i simply couldnt afford to buy new heat exchangers so as you know i had some copies made by a mate in the steel game. I think when i replaced the fuel pump i didnt have a gasket that sits between theblueridge wrote:looks like it could be coming from the fuel pump gasket or the breather box base gasket

look at the picture....the blue circle shows a small pool of oil.
Id done about 5 miles and there was NO OIL...
did another 5 and what you can see was there...
I cant seem to locate any obvious place it leaked from.
any ideas??
