Re: My 1967 Australian Squareback...
Ok, when I bought the car, it was obviously still wearing its Australian number plates. The guy I bought the car from, who actually imported it direct from Australia, drove the car up the M6 motorway from down south, cant remember exactly where but it drove along without any issues. On first appeara...

Re: My 1967 Australian Squareback...
This is my old squareback. I was the first uk owner and registered it at Preston DVLA office. When i purchased it, it was in pretty good condition but still had areas needing work. As a result, i decided to completely strip it down. It required welding to the rear inner wings, usual areas on a Type ...

Re: MY NEW 412LE PROBLEMS
That's disappointing, but if it ran well when it was running well (!), it's probably nothing too major. Most likely something electrical (and there's quite a bit of that in FI) is a bit loose. OK, a couple of likely problems that fit the symptoms. The injector plugs (I assume it's FI) can get loose...

Auto box not selecting?????
Was considering buying an automatic '72 Type 3. The vendor has just contacted me to advise thats he's took the car for a drive this morning and its refusing to select third gear. He's built the speed up to 50mph and above but still not selecting third, any ideas? Is it likely to be expensive?

Just a quick question Nidge. My squareback is due to arrive in about a month from Australia. Was it a hassle to get yours registered? As far as I can see I need to get an MOT and fill some forms for the DVLA. Is that about it? Registering your Square is easy mate. I would advise that you get the ap...
