Just beware chaps- Type 3 Spectacle looks exactly like Type 25 ones but doesn't fit!, So don't count your chickens until you've checked that the buggers fit your Tinware!

Re: Replacing door window scrapers

I think Simon Kelley is about to start selling them Broady!
I can vouch that the gsf brazillian ones are crap- rubber is too soft!
I think you can also buy type 2 rubbers that are much more beefy

Re: Cooling Flaps return spring.

It's worth mentioning also that you must use the copper bellows type of thermostat, NOT the newer waxstat type, which fails by default in the closed position!

Re: Cooling Flaps return spring.

The spring ensures that the flaps open fully whatever the condition of everything else Just...

Re: Cooling Flaps return spring.

Small hook on spring goes through a hole in Right hand flap, Bigger hook goes onto the relay lever (fairly self explanatory when you see how it lines up)

Although you might have guessed that I've been toying with the idea for quite a while, I blame broady entirely for my decision this morning to bite the bullet & buy one! There's so little difference in price between the 6L & 10L versions that it made sense to buy the bigger one! I may have been slig...
