It doesn't affect the fanhousing, but the thicker pump makes you ask the question Different pumps have different sized galleries, so you need to keep an eye on whether the galleries align between case & pump & on the sizes of galleries Big galleries on pump/small on case would give you stonking oil ...

Can't be... the engine support bar goes over the oil pump nuts
Look at the support bar/ heat exchanger area

I should really have said Fan!

It needs to sit right in its position- you might have it caught up on something

Fanhousing should be vertical, so check it's not at a funny angle

then loosen the pinch bolt on the linkage

And by the way, Your lovely new dissy clamp looks good, but it needs to be under the dissy, not resting on the block as it was in yesterdays photo!

I would suspect that the rear of the fan shroud isn't properly seated & that You've set the relay lever/thermostat linkage in the wrong position?
Whip the impeller off & the head tin on 1 & 2, slacken the pinch bolt on the linkage, then loosen the back of the housing & give it a wiggle

I found a clutch cyl & it's destined to stow away in Broadys car.
