you can get a 6 to 12 volt invertor for just the radio .. this is ok so long as all it is going to be is a basic radio. any more than that then 12volt conversion it is ... i have heard these invertors can spike the radio with a slightly higher voltage as well !!!

squirrel's auto fastback.

just read your post again and if it was an alarm it would look like the hazards were going or if it was partially disconected it would click but not affect the indicators ... sounds like a possibal back feed through the dash warning bulb for indicators or hazzards ..

could well be an old alarm that has kicked into life if the battery went flat.. if you want any advice on the electrical side give me a call .. spent 11 years as an auto electrician ... it will be easy to trace and remove ( if its an old moss one that could even have drained the battery in the first...

hello all. i have a 1971 1600e auto fastback, it has been in storage for a fair time and i have now decided to get it on the road ... when i went to move it all was ok .. started ,reved, ect ... engaged reverse and i had no revs .... tried drive and the same happened ... it moved as i could get it j...
