dont know if the hexbar linkage would clear the case,etc,im going to give t3d the benefit of the doubt;after all if they dont know a type3 who does?

i think bore size they are the same,but the weber has bigger jets so can be used for 1641/1776,t3d has ment to of jetted theses for 1600

the weber carb is just a far better carb than the 40 year old ones
no chokes tho

ive just bought a brand new weber kit from t3d,including manifold,linkage etc.....but they dont have a balance pipe in the kit,t3d say they dont run one on these carbs?

does anyone else run 34icts...with/without a pipe?

ok,ive cheched balance pipe(ok)
idle cut off working
swapped fuel pump(no change)
fuel tank pipe connected & in good cond

would it be the pertronix needing gaping & timing?
idles fine,rough to rev up thru the rev range?

tryed to get to the northwest type3 meet but broke down on route,suddenly fell on to 3 clyinders,by the time id limpt it home it wudnt rev at all...left it put in pertronix & it ran fine to tatton park,used it to go back & to work no probs...then this morning after bootin it sideways round a wet cor...

hi bud,i got mine from t3d

found out its because theres 2 different rod & f/pumps alternator & dynomo...i mixed the 2 ,rod was too long & had nowhere to go

now need ,rod & bako stand
