Thanks guys! I'm glad you've made use of the last 5 years!
I really hope I can seal the deal with this 411, it's in truly amazing condition having lived its life in dry Johannesburg.

Coming back from Africa
After 5 years in Africa, I'm moving back. During my stay here I have found a rust free type 2 in Malawi which is being shipped home and and absolutely mint 411L cyclops 1968. I'm still negotiating on the 411 which is in Johannesburg but I am looking forward to bringing her into the UK.

Heads up on 411/412 clearout
Hi all, as some of you may know, I am moving abroad this summer so I have 5 months to clear out 3 sheds worth of parts for the type 4 411/412. I have started listing them on the well known internet auction site. If someone wants to come to Gloucestershire with a van and offer me a sensible price for...

Electric Power for a type 4?
Hi, I have not been on this forum for ages! Lots happening with work, Bulgarian house project, type 2 Devon restoration etc etc. Two years ago I bought a Mitsubishi i-miev fully electric car and it's been a revelation. That's another story. However, the USA has plenty of examples of electric motor c...

Good luck. If you need a reconditioned master cylinder then 'past parts' are good.

Re: Window rubbers
I meant to put variant so changed it above. They do rubbers for variant also. Somewhere on here is a thread about rubbers and an email for the Dutch club. It has the word kever in it from memory. Good luck

Re: Window rubbers
They have been selling them on eBay recently for either sedan or variant. They put the decimal point in the wrong place so the price was £20,000 instead of £200 which made me laugh!

Re: Type 4 Map
Hi. Just realised that the map is working again, at least it is on an android mobile. It's been a while so I need to know of any updates to cars locations and new ones I have missed. Thanks

Yes I spotted the sedan last night too. My first post was about a piece of archive footage from the real 70's.

Re: Is this the last 411 4 door saloon ?
I thought these things just didn't happen any more! What's it like underneath? Do the brakes work? FI or carb?
What history does it have?
Hope you didn't pay too much. I paid £500 for my 412 4-door about 5 years ago and it is a miracle that it had an MOT at the time!
