Quick update! To cut a massive long story short, I have a brand new upgraded gearbox being built and should be with me by the end of next week! http://www.dgrin.com/images/smilies/cheerleader.gif Then will be fitted back in and on the road hopefully by mid the first week of March 8) Fingers crossed ...

Could be that the bearing has stuck on preventing the drum coming off. This happened to my front one and was a right pain. Took me and Andy K to pull it off! 8)

Oh and before anyone notices, i didnt cut the engine lid surround it was done before i had it, but to be honest I would have had to do something as the twin 40s are huge in there! ;)
