Electric..... Yeah we all wish that.

Should be a pressure system. On my late type 3 the washer is activated by pulling the washer arm towards the driver. But I imagine this information is if no use to you lol.

From what you've described I would say yes, 11 is the price your seek.

However I wouldn't want to say that 11 for a beetle is capatable with a type 3.

Lol they haven't spun in a while. Hopefully I'll be making up for it very soon though. With regards to the shocks they are actually dampeners. The shock resistance is all in the torsion bars I'm pretty sure it works that way. Those wheels are 7.5" wide and are wrapped in 205/40/17 rubber but I'm goi...

I have probably dropped mine just as much as you have. I have as far as I know got standard shocks on mine. When I lowered mine it too sat on the bump stops...... So I pulled them off. Although I haven't driven mine in a long time I do recall it not being too bad to drive and handled very well. But ...

Haven't a clue...... It's not finished yet. I'm hoping to get the engine running next weekend. I've still got lots of annoying fiddly bits to finish on the engine. But I'm sorting the exhast this weekend and the wiring is getting done next weekend. The engine is producing around 250bhp, it's a wrx i...

Unless it's a beetle engine.

The number will be behind the fan housing underneath the breather tower.

Imagine a beetle engine. Looking at the area inside of the fanbelt at the bottom of the alternator stand

I hope that mates sense

As promised. Let me know if these are any good. I'd say they were the early bumper brackets but I'm not sure tbh http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b37/redevol/9131b416.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b37/redevol/7b80488a.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b37/redevol/7377efa6.jpg

It's not my bug. Technically speaking it's not my photo neither. But I do own the notch though. This picture was in the classified advert that tempted me to buy the car.

Think the guy was called Martin, young chap, chopper I think from Chelmsford.

Im interested to know also if its possible to fit the early bumpers to a late model? mark Yup you can, something to do with altering the brackets to get them to fit. I think you keep you late shape brackets and mod them to fit the te early bumper. http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b37/redevol/Type%...

Hi Dave, Thanks for all the info. My car is a RHD IRS model car. I should have mentioned that to begin with lol. The Subaru engine from memory is roughly 100kilos heavier then the vw lawnmower engine and the Porsche 915 is again heavier but I'm not sure. The car is fitted with uniball joints in the ...

Suspension geometry setting please

So after 9 good years of service I've lost my haynes manual ( no that I'll miss it) I need to get my suspension set up and I'm going to one of those new dangled four wheel WMD laser tazar machines. Only problem is a type three isn't listed on this machine. But he said if I could get the geometry set...

There a not slot to them to be honest.

Undo the bottom bolt.

Be careful when with drawing the tube as there is a tiny wire inside with a float. The wire kind of guides the float up and down the tube.

129 dollars

I ruined one of mine during an experiment.
