i saw some on ebay that says its 65mm but it turns out to be the outside diameter. i need the 65 to be the inside diameter or it wont go onto the airbox.

also, have a look at the shift rod coupling. its underneath the car just in front of the gearbox front mount. take the coverplate off and see if its falling about loose or perhaps the rubber parts have got sloppy.

hi. i'm using the 1800 engine with 36/40 PDSIT carbs. the air filter box is takes the square filter. can someone point me in the right direction to find a replacement elliment please. looked everywhere but no one seems to even list it.

well it didn't go on the glass easily but it is possible without it being obvious that it is the wrong seal. it is phisically smaller in extrusion than the proper seal. i have a rear screen from a fasty and i've measured round it and its pretty close to that of the front screen. one thing for sure, ...

i remember dave saying that the repro seals are lacking a bit in size. the front screen seal i have takes the trim but is thinner when compared to the one that came out. is it possible that i've been sold a rear rubber for a fastback maybe? the sizes are quite similar.
