Re: late fastback full resto

Very nice buddy!!
All the usual type 3 flakey, orange nonsense but satisfying when you get it looking less like a teabag...and you're making good progress!!
I thought it looked shit hot in the first pic by the way...ragged paint, primer on show, shiny bumpers and cosmics...beautiful!!

Re: Difference in Early and Late Wings of a T3 Fastback.

So, early wings with no fuel flap wouldn't fit my '70 (late shape) fasty?!
I'd like to do away with the fuel flap and hoped early wings would fit so I didn't have to weld up the flap recess on the wings I've got!!

Re: Type 4 into type 3...easy?!

Thanks buddy, it was just an idea so thought I'd research it a bit...figured it wasn't gonna be particularly simple!! Still like the idea of doing it though, will have to see what the budget has left after everything else has been sorted!! Thanks for the offer of advice...if I decide it's the path I...

Type 4 into type 3...easy?!

Hi all, I've seen a few type 3s with type 4 motors in for a bit more poke and was wondering how simple a conversion it is?! I understand there is a conversion plate readily available but was hoping some of you good people would know exactly what else is involved and any pitfalls you can come across ...

Indicator problems...again!!

Hi all, Once again my indicators are messing me about!! They and the hazards stopped working last weekend, but if you wiggled the hazard knob they seemed to make contact and work again briefly!! I bought a new hazard switch as common sense told me this must be the problem, but put it on this morning...

Ghia seats interchangeable?!

Hi all, just a quick question.
Are '69 ghia seats and '70 type 3 seats interchangeable cos someone I know wants to swap the highbacks from a ghia for lowbacks and I was wondering if I could swap my seats for theirs as I'd like some highbacks?!
Cheers

Hey bucket,
Got some glass wings but they're not day mouldings and I'm not sure how well they'll fit. They've got no cut outs but I'm just a bit unsure about 'em.
Thanks to Dave for the no. too!!

Day mouldings

Hi all,
Are Day Mouldings still kicking type 3 wings out, and if so how flexible are they with indicator and bumper holes as I'd like neither...also, what kinda money would I be looking at?!
