i spoke with gasure via email in jan, they wont do postal rebuilds any more you have to drive you car up to prove the carbs work, leave them the car and they take them off strip and rebuild and put them back on think theve been caught by some one sending shit carbs and then saying it was gasures fault

its a 69 square with a U code engine the FI has been changed for carbs it runs but like a bag of nails with poping etc but drives ok ish the dizzy has 1 vac pipe which was connected to the left carb as you look at the engine, however there is a small pipe on the manifold about 1cm under where the ca...

machine 7 list them at 129 a pair

or i think GSF list them ?? at 75 a pair but not clear

type 3 front brake calipers ???

looks like my one front caliper is shot

bled the brakes to find both the front caliper were sticking on

so stripped them down and found the one looks like its shot with the amount of crap and rust

is there a new replacement avaliable ??

mine are the smaller single bleed nipple type

the connector that fits to the colum with all these wires in has this wire in it but no idea what to connect it too

im doing a 69 square and 99.9% of the wiring is sorted and all the stuff inc the horn works however in the connector that fits on the colum i have a wire with no home PR - grey and black the other wires are 54BL - black/white/green R - black/white P - grey ***PR - grey/black*** loose goes to nothing...

ive been sorting the electrics out on the square

its a 69 ozzie import

it has side marker lights on the wings with clear lenses

what do i wire then up as

side lights or indicators with orange bulbs inside ??

a razor edge ghia uses a type 3 floor pan doesnt it ?? but a razor edge also suffers from the little old tin worm what if i had a razor edge pan with UK reg and re-bodied it, would the body have to be a razor or could i use and type 3 sgell ie notch fasty square ??? the reason is i have a nice numbe...

or isp west do them for $40 each which price wise is great, but i dont know the quality

have a chat with simon kelly he does rubbers and stuff and well known on here after having a chat with him i opted for chrome less rubbers i think you can get the repro rubbers and the repro trim but you need to make sure the rubber takes either the C or T shaped trim also the other problem i was to...

front axle help

rebuilding the square at the moment

its a 69 with irs rear

ive noticed some play in the top trailing arm on the front axle

the bolt on the drivers side is tight but the play is still there

what do i need to do to sort it

ive got standard type 3 discs up front redrilled for 5/130 porsche

and porsche 944 discs out back with working handbrake

not tried car on road yet

really helpful

or simon kelly who goes by the name of notch1500 on ebay (i think)

custom and commercial do some

and type 3 detectives but you need a second mortgae for there prices
