Re: My new mats
Very nice, a job I've been meaning to get around to, as like yourself, finding RHD tailored mats has been a fruitless search so far.

As above, plus I'm a big fan of keeping the beam well greased with the 4 grease nipples on the beam to try and lessen further wear. All is described in the Haynes/Bentley/Autobooks depending which you choose

Re: Fire Prevention
Thanks David, I'll take a look at them. I've got a twist off type connector on my battery for easily disconnecting for laying it over winter. I do like BlazeCut idea, I found a tutorial (albeit for a T25), where it had been set around the edge of the engine lid: https://smallcar.com/blazecut-fire-su...

Fire Prevention
Not the nicest of topics but one I feel I should look into. I already do the basics like carrying an extinguisher, checking fuel pump etc, but I was wondering if there would be room to fit a Blaze Cut system under the deck lid? It seems a nice simple and effective way of doing it, I imagine with an ...

Re: Stanford Hall 2017
I'll be getting the application for 10 spaces on stand sent off for this soon. Please PM addresses to send out individual stand passes to and I will post them out nearer the time as they come to me. I'm sure most people have been to the show before and know the rules, but just in case: Cars are only...

Not sure if anyone does off the shelf type 3 air, but my first call would be to Limebug on that one, they seem to be doing a lot of very nice fabrication on the air ride side of things.

Yes I'll be there, but I'll probably only have my T34 on the road so I'll see if I can park it on the KGOC stand as they always seem to get a bit more space.
Cheers

Stanford Hall 2017
I have received an email notifying that the display applications are now available. For 2017 the show will be charging £10 administration fee per club to cover postage etc. I'm quite happy to arrange a stand if there is interest, I think we usually have 10 spaces? So the princely sum of £1 if you wo...

I use a 3mm spacer up front with slightly longer bolts on my daily vehicle to clear calipers, it's just about enough clearance, but if it is clear, it's clear

New Repair Panels?
Having received my new Volksworld magazine through the post yesterday, it was nice to see them advertising VW Heritage had expanded its range of repair panels for the Type 3. I think some of these were previously stocked but hopefully they may help someone out :) https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/type...

Next time I've got it out I'll check one for you, might be a little while tho now. Mines definitely IRS, you can tell by the trailing arms and if the drive shafts are single or double jointed. Yes, I think we were chatting at Action
