Theres a pair of spindles in the recent stash!,plus big heap of arms,though i didnt go through them to check for different years! Nice sunday afternoon drive in wilts??-its about 40mins from my house Hey Purplepeter, do you have any early arms in your stash? they must be in really good nick as mine...

Thanks chaps 8) i will have a looksy at what arms i have at home and let you know. The spindle on the drivers side is shot really and does need replacing, so will look at the odds n bods and let you know sizes etc. 8)

Early notch Wiper arms & Spindles

Does anyone know if these are the same as any years of beetle ones? I need new spindles and and or arms but wondered if any of these were the same as beetle? 8)

Its for a 64 notch ;)

Really no problem, credit where credit is due! you should definately make up some type 3 panels, you will certainly earn a few quid! My front valance inner and outer is a tad knackered at the bottom like most. Difficult bits to find a replacement of ;) If you asked around on here, im sure you could ...

That's an idea.........I'll get a cash price tomorrow and if I can get it blasted and coated under £60 I'll go for it. Thanks for the thought Mike No probs :D I got mine blasted by a mate for free, but it should only cost you about £10 - £20 for the blasting and then another £20 or so for the powde...

Hello mate, i have powder coated mine in satin black with a texture. it works really well with heat and doesnt get effected.

I was going to paint like you have thought but this seemed easier to me and at £20 was a bargain and saved all of the hassle. 8)
