MOT Failed.
So my 1970 SQ BK (LHD USA Import) hàs failed on the side light colour. How has anyone else got round this? Not got the full sheet back, a rear CV joint also had to be replaced and they tell me a beetle unit is the same fit.

He has long said the Type 3 was his favourite VW and is looking forward to taking a look. We have a good car at the moment and I want to nudge it along the way to being great. Look forward ...

Looking at the web site "How many left" you get a figure of 42 registered Sq Back on the toad in the UK. Does this seem correct?

I am missing the slider control knobs from the drivers and passenger side panels. The wires are there and can be pulled, moving the flaps. Any availability on the control knobs, or alternatives?

http://www.sywellclassic.co.uk/ Putting a link up fot a weekend show we attend in September. This is probably our favourite event of the year as it has a huge variety of cars, bikes and vintage planes. A really great atmosphere with vintage stalls, 50s & 60s bands and a mix of the usual food stalls,...

Rusty floor pans!
So carpets stripped out ready for new being fitted and it was a bit more rusty under there than hoped for. Welding is arranged for a couple of weeks time so will delay new carpet being fitted. As a new owner it is worth mentioning that the rear floor pan section is lower thanvthe front, so this is t...

Towing with an automatic?
Hi all, our 1970 Sq is an automatic and we had planned to occassionally tow our Eriba Puck. Just learned that the original spec stated you should not tow a trailer with an auto. Amyone else out there with this set up? Have you towed or can anyone advise on the risks.
Many thanks,
