Type3 exhaust

Just wondering if anyone who has fitted an empi quiet pack style exhaust system has managed to retain the rear heat exchangers because studying all the available parts manuals and pictures it looks as though you have to get rid of them. If that is the case does the heater still work with them remove...

One thing I will p...

Car insurance

Hi can anyone give me advice on who to use for insurance for a late type 3 notch that has been lowered and has non-standard alloy wheels, everyone I've had a quote from up to now seems quite expensive.

Thanks Doug.

Re: Newly aquired notch with some teething problems.

Hi Dave i've done the test at the battery its 12.1v with nothing on and it fluctuates, about every 10 secs, between battery voltage and just over 14v at 2500rpm. I've also just tried to do the dynamo test explained in the other thread but can't decide which wires are DF and D+ on the dynamo, do you ...

'71 notch master cylinder

Does anyone know if a type 1 1302/1303 dual circuit master cylinder is the same as a type 3 only because I've fitted a set of rear brake shoes from one to my notch they're exactly the same and i was wondering how much of the brakes are shared parts.

Cheers in advance, Doug.
