Right, as I missed out on tax exemption as my 21/1/73 built car was 21 days too new

Question ...... how do I apply for my first tax exempt tax disc ?
I have heard I need to send of docs to VRO, etc...... ???

Hi Howie. I have run redrill hubs on my fasty but for 5x112mm PCD, and now running porched 5x130 PCD if you are going wide 5, depending on how much you want to spend, could go all out and buy the CSP kits. or use adapters, bearing in mind increase in track width redilling to 5x205 of stock drums/dis...

bottoms are same as type 1 beetle (seals and needle bearings) tops are type 3 specific, consist of a metal/plastic bush you have to knock in, also there is a rubber 'o' ring. top needle bearings are type 3 specific. from experience, the top bush and needle bearings are like rocking horse doo doo to ...

They will be a high tensile grade bolts also (10.9 i think).

many moons ago my brother and I used some rope on the hooked end to pull it and some brute force!
not a problem now, as fitted gas struts from a 911 (not a simple job !! )

they are not handed (left/right hand drive). the beam patterns are straight as I think most new cars are now.
they were very east to get hold of at the time, a couple of guys had them over here.

was a pure fluke we just got to Cannes on the Saturday, went to this on the Sunday by train about an hour, a bit of a walk from the station in the searing heat (my sandles fell apart!) but was worth it.

I got hold of some 6mm cunifer (copper/nickel) same material as used for modern brake lines.
very nice stuff, but as you mention, had to by a 25 ft roll, but it's good to have around.
I got mine from a commercial vehicle motor factors.
I'm sure it will be available on ebay.
