After 15 year wait.... my fasty will be tax free 1st April !

Right, as I missed out on tax exemption as my 21/1/73 built car was 21 days too new :crybaby:

It is now my time !! :) :) :)

Question ...... how do I apply for my first tax exempt tax disc ?

I have heard I need to send of docs to VRO, etc...... ???

Cheers,

Re: Best way to get wide 5's on a late Square

many moons ago my brother and I used some rope on the hooked end to pull it and some brute force!

not a problem now, as fitted gas struts from a 911 (not a simple job !! )

Re: Anyone moved their indicators into the headlight bowls?!

they are not handed (left/right hand drive). the beam patterns are straight as I think most new cars are now.

they were very east to get hold of at the time, a couple of guys had them over here.

time to hit google and the US forums ! ;)

cheers Dave,

was a pure fluke we just got to Cannes on the Saturday, went to this on the Sunday by train about an hour, a bit of a walk from the station in the searing heat (my sandles fell apart!) but was worth it.

Re: Steel fuel pipe

I got hold of some 6mm cunifer (copper/nickel) same material as used for modern brake lines.

very nice stuff, but as you mention, had to by a 25 ft roll, but it's good to have around.

I got mine from a commercial vehicle motor factors.

I'm sure it will be available on ebay.
