I see that Dave (Editor) has just reached this significant milestone.

I thought it would be worth recognising the achievement and thanking him for all the terrific and knowledgeable advice he has dispensed over the years to fellow type 3 and 4 enthusiasts

Thanks, David. I had no idea - in fact, I haven't a clue where that is shown!

Oh yes - I see it now!
Dave.

I'll second that Dave

Dave has been a friend to many of us and his wise words has helped many lost type 3'ers find they're way

Cheers Dave

Well spotted! I felt that there was a fair bit of unnecessary stuff, and cut the oldest 2 pages on the Events pages, and pruned about 10 of the 24 pages of posts on the Virtual Clubhouse pages. Generally I saved those with a lot of replies - unless the topic sounded interesting, anything less than 5 replies went!

I won't be so brutal on the Projects pages - there are some excellent photo-records on there, always assuming the original photos are still where the poster had them of course!

I hadn't thought about the effect on total posts - quite frankly, it doesn't bother me, but sorry to anyone who was counting up to a milestone total.

I do periodically have to clear stuff from my 10GB website allocation, and parts of the forum archives looked fair game!
Dave.
