Post by Wireless » 29th September 2014 - 3:26pm

Good news is its passed its MoT, chuffed to bits...

I look pleased...

Best bit is I have confirmed a stock of perforated Tax Discs are held at my local Post Office, and that they will issue me a handwritten one tomorrow, when I apply for Historic Vehicle Exemption, dated 30th September...kerching!

I don't believe it, but apparently they are worth up to £1000 to collectors...

Well done, I'm not surprised you are pleased.

Lucky boy, a historic class tax disc issued on the last day they will be issued (hope that works out for you)

Nobody actually believed I'd get one issued on the last day for an Historic Vehicle...

Not sure of the value, but I don't think anyone has actually gone and done this...

I do hope you haven't removed the tax disc at the perforations ;)

Nope, never been put on the car, but I've seen a recent Historic Class Mercedes Tax Disc issued on 30th September that only went for £43 on eBay, so I think the plan will be to keep it filed, but scan and print a copy, and cut out and display the copy in the window.
