Does anyone know a company who can supply a front windscreen for a 1970 Type 3 Variant?

Have you tried the windscreen glass people? I suppose if it isn't an insurance claim, it will cost a fair bit. Last time I was in my loft getting one for Jason Dean, there was at least one left up there!

Have been quoted £316 fitted by National Windscreens with a 6 to 8 week order time and am still waiting to hear back from Pilkingtons.

I think that you will find that virtually all windscreen glass suppliers will be supplying a Pilkington windscreen at what ever marked up price they feel like offering it to you at.

last I heard the VW 1500 Pilkington glass windscreen was about £240-260+VAT not including fitting though.

Also the measurements supplied were

Centre height = 497mm
Width around bend = 1323mm
Chord = 1271mm

I've checked these against my spare screen and they all match apart from the "Width around the bend" which has a 5mm difference.
