Forum likely to go offline

Post by broady_6 » 19th March 2018 - 10:27pm

The forum may go offline in the next 24 hours or any point between now and the end of the month. Weve had an attack which has eaten most of our bandwidth for the month. Ukraine again, I have blocked thousands of IP address from their range, they all seem to be Ukrainian based. But if you cant get on its either we have run out of bandwidth or I have inadvertently blocked you, so please get in touch and I will do my best to resolve the issue.

We shall continue to work on this in the background and sorry for any inconvenience this may cause!

Just the thing to happen when you're 150 miles away from your desktop computer, with data access only by standing outside holding the mobile in the air!
We've paid extra for 4 times the bandwidth per month, so maybe we'll have peace for a while.
Thanks to Broady for keeping things moving meanwhile. If you're on a .kr (Ukraine) ISP and have a Type 3 or 4, sorry if we block you. It's nothing personal.
Dave.

You did outstanding work sir! Thanks to 937 Carrera too, they just seems to hate us, weve not got megaindex.ru eating 400mb a day even though ive put it on the banned bots list. We will get there though

Probably all part of the hate campaign for the UK. At least it's not Novochok this time!
