Air suspension?

Post by Stryder » 18th October 2008 - 3:41pm

Has any body tried or know anything of the DDB (www.theddb.com) air suspension kit? It bolts straight on instead of welding, sounds a lot easier to me!
Just wondered before i threw my money away! TA! :)

Probably best to ask on the e-mail group www.vwtype3.org as the guys who make them and use them are on there.

Forget about the one from the US. It uses bags to replace the shocks which is illegal over here because you need to retain a damper.

Retrodubs in Cornwall are working on a solution using air shocks.

It's the one I was considering.. Unless you can figure out some kind of damper mount for alongside the bag of course ;)
