Opened my front door and saw this this morning :\

My kids were massively excited at this because for this area, snow is pretty unusual let alone sooo much! Plus they didn't have college/school either

and on Saturday my bug made it to the lakes for some quite cool camping and ice climbing next day.
Shocking to drive in freezing fog though - solid iced windscreen inside & out!

It's not a medal he needs for doing that, it's his head read he needs!!

How hard exactly did you bump your head when you had that little spill on your bike?? :ninja:

Cheers! I've just remembered why I bought FUDGE. It was so that I could sleep in the back rather than pitch a tent when I go out mountaineering in the snow. That went a bit wrong didnt it!! My beetle is by far the most raggedy of my VWs but it comes into its own in Winter. You can't sleep in it but it doesnt matter if salt gets on it or it slides into things or gets wet on the inside. My neighbours will not be pleased - I told them I was getting rid of it!!

My bus is too precious and Fudge is just a short way away from the same status once it has its new wing on and the heater is fixed!
Dammit - if only I owned a big field or a barn!!!
Here's another great pic from the w/e

Image
- maybe I can inspire a few of you up to the snowy wasteland of the North? From what I heard on the radio this morning most of our Scottish members would have been sleeping in their cars like it or not!!!
