Club Magazine

Hi everyone,

I found myself driving home from the AGM as the new club magazine editor, and now Christmas is out of the way I'd really like to get something together to send out.
It would be great if I could fill the magazine with some great articles from all the membership rather than me just spouting on, so if you have anything you'd like to see in print, or you think others would be interested in then it would be great to see them.

It could be a technical article (modification or not), a historical feature, an event report, a tip for the care or repair of the Type 3 or 4, or anything no matter how loosely related to our cars - all would be gratefully received.

If you have an interesting story relating to you and your car, then I'd like to feature it in a regular "Me and Mine" article. This could be how you came to own your car, any interesting history about it, or something interesting you do with it. Literally anything you can think of that would fit under that banner...

Also if you've previously submitted material and not seen it in print then I'd be grateful if you could resubmit it. I've not had anything handed over to me from previous editors, so please don't presume I've seen it or know of its existance. As with anything that is used, a full credit to the author will be given.

Any format would be great, but emailed text (or an attached text file) and accompanying pictures (JPEG, bmp etc) would be the most convenient.

I particularly need Type 4 related articles.
Having never owned one, I haven't collected much in the way of referance material.
Any help gratefully recieved.

If I could get something by the end of Feb that would be good.
I'd like to have something out that I could still put Spring on the cover...

Hi,

I have some material for the second Magazine I was intending to produce before life got in the Way .

Over the Next week I will gather it up and email to you. I also have a photograph of a Type 4 engine an owner sent to me that I had promised to put on the next cover.

Some of the stuff sent to me is in paper form so I can post that on to you if you send me a PM with your postal address.

When I started I set up an email account just for the club mag (the one issue I got out I called Pancake (after the nickname for the flat Type 3/4 engines. If you like I can send you the log on details so you can take over that as its the address I gave people to send articles to.
