New 412 Owner

Post by Ryster » 12th February 2011 - 8:49pm

Evening all!

After years of being involved with the Volkswagen scene (My first Bug Jam was 8 back in '94) and having family and friends owning Aircooleds, Ive finally got myself one. Been a long standing joke as I run a VW club but only ever owned Waterpumpers from a young age but I finally gave in and bought what Ive always considered to be the most hideous of all VWs, a 412 Variant. I like the fact they are so unique looking and not to everyones liking or taste, right up my street.

Its been on here before for sale as Gold Member, its now known as the Goldie Looking Shame (Safe clart!) and will finally be put back together and looking sweet for Bug Jam 25 at the latest. Ill be doing a project thread on it and taking loads of pictures etc.

Hopefully this forum will be a help with bits I get stuck on or helpfull for finding parts

I missed this one somehow, looks like Goldie is going to a good home, look forward to seeing you and the 412 around.
