there was a late squareback featured in a 1990's lightwieght austrian (yes Austrian) detective show, can't remember the name, it was a spin-off from a German show about a police dog. Inspector Rex. This was on in Australia (cork hats). Not much tv choice there eh.
Anyway, the main guy used to drive it. He was a bit of a twirp so I'm guessing they thought they car fitted.

And in the Persuaders I remember seeing a red notch feature at one of the hotels.

Just watched this movie on the strength of that one clip. Very funny but it did remind me of myself a little.

I got a copy of The Stoned Age on DVD from a computer fair a few years ago. Good to see the cars - I missed out on the parties though. Maybe that was a good thing!
