Hello just moved into type 3s

Hi All

After years of bug ownership i have decided a change was in order, with that I have bought the red fasty that Matttype3had for sale on here, UWP330L 1600TE :D. Really nice guy and i cant belive all the spares i have ended up with, think i need a new shed :lol: Since buying him a few weeks ago i have stripped out the interior to sort out the waterleaks and the heater box metal work. Other than the heater box area no nasty surprises, got to say its the most solid vee dub i have owned :D :D

On the search now for front and rear screen seals,bonnet and boot seals and some window lifter attachments

VWH sell the front and rear screen seal. If you need links ask and ill find you them

Hello all :)I have to say the type 3's are put together well and. Have some interesting differences to the beetles I'm used to.

Sorted out a screen seal from status, hope that fits ok, luckily found some really good door seals on some scrap doors :D

If I can get my finger out should have him back on the road in April.

One thing does any one know where to get the square fuel filters from or what are good alternatives?
