steel sunroof on squarebacks
how rare are they as looking at my old green squareback and sad that someone scraped it ,made me think how rare are they as not seen many pre 68 squareback with steel sunroofs
Re: steel sunroof on squarebacks
My view is that a hole in the roof isn't worth it for the hassle later, but I assume that no-one who paid extra would still have the car this number of years later. They're not too common in the UK - something to do with the sun not shining much!

I guess you have never experienced the sheer joy of open-topped motoring! I wouldn't be without my sunroof - deep joy!Editor wrote:My view is that a hole in the roof isn't worth it for the hassle later ...

I looked for 2 things when I bought my square - autobox and steel sunroof - I got the auto bit but not the sunroof - may end up letting one in at some stage but major project to do it right

I used to travel in a dickey seat, all wrapped up in a duffle coat! Still bl**dy cold. Open cars are good for sunny days and warm climates, though with skin cancers on the increase, maybe that's not true any more.
