Car valuation

Post by Creationblue » 12th October 2013 - 2:38pm

A friends dad has just bought a beauty of a Fastback, genuine 34k miles and absolutely no rust with everything in tact. Is there anyone local to Bristol who can do an insurance valuation?

Thanks in advance

Dave Hall (Editor) is the only person to do a club valuation & by luck he's in Bristol!
I'd be happy to tag along with him as long as its not too early in the day!
Which part of Bristol is the car in?
Drop Dave a line,or just wait for him to reply on here

I don't think my calculator runs to that many digits. ;-)

Marathon blue metallic with FI. There was (may still be) a Variant YWC 435L same colour. That would be a neat pair to have!

Just been looking at Google maps and whatever has happened to Church Road? Machine Mart seems to be there, but I can't see KGC or the VW place where I though it was - redeveloped I assume. No problem finding CJ Motors. Is the car there or elsewhere?

The car has been hiding in a private collection for a number of years, it was recently advertised in a classic car magazine, I'm yet to see it but really is as good as it looks. The car will be at CJ Motors next Saturday, if you both can make it then let me know in advance,

Looks like a good day at CJ Motors.

A square on the ramps, lovely Fastback, a bay pickup and a Porsche seeking into the picture?

You should have hidden the Focus though

The Porsche is a 924 and isn't that a Jaguar XJS to the far right ?
