As title, I'm after an oil filler gland nut. 1971 UO engine.
Thanks.

After a couple of hours trying to remove one from various engines and filler necks/breather towers I've lying around, I bought a new one from GSF for the princely sum of £7.47, but they don't keep the sealing washer in stock.
I'm buggered if I'm paying VWH or C&C £4.00 carriage on a washer.....

Which number are you missing? http://home.clara.net/hallvw/type3/T3pbo/T3pb1-31a.htm
The right hand bits are under the smaller breather top on later FI models.

11 is called a sealing gasket, if it's that, and is a VW part 113 115 475, as are the other bits.

I'm sorted now, thanks all.
The fibre washers are available at plumbers merchants for a few pence.
