Type 3 hockey stick

Post by gracie » 25th June 2018 - 8:48am

As it says, I'm on the search for a correct Type 3 gearbox hockey stick (mine is a 67 car) if anyone has one spare?

Regards
Graham

No, they're different to a Type 3 hockey stick.
If you fit a Beetle one it cocks the gearshift position to the left and makes shifting difficult. Ask me how I know.

I've got a complete Type 3 nosecone somewhere if you're interested.

Just had a look in the IPC It seems up to chassis number 433785 it was a beetle part. This

https://www.vwheritage.com/113311541a-g ... m-vw-spare

And post that chassis number its 311 311 541

Hope this helps

That is very useful and could potentially explain a lot. I'll need to check my chassis number in the morning because it is right in the middle of that changeover. Out of interest what is the IPC?

Many thanks
