Wheels.

Post by kaddy » 6th December 2017 - 7:14pm

As powder coating my wheels is not an option in my neck of the woods.

Whats the next best option for weather proofing the rims.

Thanks

Paint them?
Or use rim wax.

Plasti dip and Hydro dipping are other forms of coating items.

Neck of the woods is midlands in Ireland.

The boonies in terms of any local specialists.

Home powder coating, mmm...???

Has to be a home based option, as there are no business based ones near me

Thanks for the quick responses and ideas folks. It now gives me something

to chew on. :)

not a cheap thing, but if you've got a fair few bits to do itll pay for its self. Alternatively what would shipping to the UK cost, my powder coater wouldn't charge much to do wheels. A full set of tinware is £40. I'm back and forth to his place with my project at the minute so I could take them in.
