Front tires?

Hi guys,
Question - What size front tires do you have on a lowered type 3?
Also how many splines drop?

I have 5.5 x 15 wheels to put on instead of my 7x15 because I would like to go lower?

Hi, I have a 2 spline drop on the front of mine and when i bought the car i fitted smart car front tyres (145/65x15) to some BRM replicas that had a ET15 (15 mm offset) and i was happy with the look which was all fine when i was on my own but as soon as the car was 4 up the front beam mounts crashed into the floor occasionally. So i fitted a larger profile front tyre in an attempt to gain a small amount of ride height without raising the suspension on the splines but all that did was cause the tyre to catch the front wing arch, now i have fitted stock type 3 wheels and 155x15 front tyres still happy with the look and no beam crashing into the road or tyre to arch rub!
