Brake bits and 5/130 pattern

Post by TomB » 15th December 2016 - 8:38pm

Hi

I have a 73 square that I am going to be putting back on the road after it been layer up for years
I would like to run 5/130 Fuchs wheels on it
So firstly apart from using adaptors is my only option for the rear re drill some std 4/130 hubs/carriers ?
Can you buy them already done 5/130 or blank to fit a 73 ?
The front- again is this a re drill option apart from fitting 944 brakes or CSP etc kits or adptors?
Or can I buy off the self disks in 5/130 for a 73

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Tom

you can buy re drilled hub and drum for rear and buy 130x5 porsche discs for front.
try machine 7 for fronts - type 3 detectives used to re-drill rears and few places in US sell rear kits
avoid using converters on rear due to offset -
The variant Project
