Fresh Air Box

Post by Jared1969 » 18th February 2018 - 12:29pm

Hi

A few questions regarding my Squareback’s fresh air box, when I turn the fan on it makes a hell of a racket and there is a lot of water on the floor. Have been told if it’s block this can cause the wet floor. If I remove the the unit is it easy to do and refurb. Or is it better to get a second hand unit. Is it also true the seals will need replacing once removed, if so is there a supplier in the UK.

Thanks

J

Use Simon Kelley, notch1500 on eBay, for all your rubber needs.

Have a search of the forum, there's quite a few threads with pictures showing what type of repair might be needed. I know Chino and Kaddy did theirs, but there are others too.

The perception seems to be that they're always worse than thought

Broady as well has run the gauntlet on this too. Lots of info there,

and pics too, which are better than thousands of words.

Ah yes, that was one of the ones I was thinking of but I wasn't sure which of the "blue type 3" avatars it was.Great thread.
