Type 4 411le rear wheel bearings?
Hi all.
Am I right in thinking that this is the correct rear wheel bearing?

Thank you, 937carrera
if any other 411/412 members are interested I'v found a UK supplier who has quite a few of these bearings on their shelf's.
Assuming these are correct.
Cheers

Right, the brain cells have finally kicked in
Have a look at this thread viewtopic.php?f=27&t=5276&hilit=timken
5 years ago and I still have not got round to fitting the bearings, your part numbers are the same that I found so you're good to go. Have you got the seals as well - details in the thread if not. The bearings are readily available, if you buy industrial rather than automotive route.

Jon,
I'd be interested to know where you got your bearings from as my 412 needs the rear bearings doing - the drone is getting quite loud these days!
You got a type 4 over in Walsall? I'm just the other side if the M6.
Cheers

richbiscuits. Yep, in Walsall. My 411le has been fighting me the last couple of years. Various stuff and randomly playing up. Clutch master cylinder went in September last year. Refurbured at past parts. Went to move before recent bad weather and the starters stuck. New bush needed.etc, May have a play tomorrow. Been 18mths since driven in anger! Even the mot guys asking after her, and he hates her.
Bearings.
Bearing Revolution in Telford. I have one bearing and seal. I email pictures and codes over to match and they have them on the shelf.
Here's the link.

Re: Type 4 411le rear wheel bearings?
Jon,
Thanks for the lead on the bearings. I will be getting some ordered up very soon along with some seals. In the meantime I'll see if repacking and tightening up will quiet the bearing down a little.
Sorry to hear your car is playing up. They do tend to do that, don't they. I always seem to get one thing sorted just in time for another thing to go awry. Fortunately they've only been niggling things so far, nothing major. I hope you get your 411 back on the road soon - it'd be great to see another type 4 around the local area.
Regards
Rich

No worries Rich, Packing and a tighten up might help.richtbiscuits wrote: ↑11th March 2018 - 2:15pmJon,

I had a look at mine today and managed to get her running. Dodge connection on starter. Just got the clutch master cylinder to replace and that's all the mechanical stuff. But I did find some welding to be done, drivers footwell. Which in turn has rotted my accelerator cable tube thing. No idea how to fix that one yet. New post on here. Ta
