type 4 tinware

Post by richtbiscuits » 31st July 2018 - 9:28pm

Daft question perhaps but how much (or how little) engine tinware is interchangeable between a 412 and the type 4 engine fitted to type 2's? I ask because I've got an engineless 412 so I'm going to need to do some parts collecting and I can see tinware being a worry.

Thanks for all and any info.

Get the proper Type 4 tin from Jane and Bryan, the UK Type 4 experts. They won't rip you off! Phone 0130380374 for their workshop. If you're down in Kent any time, they'll welcome you with open arms. They might even have an engine; certainly free advice too.
Dave.
