69 Fastback Copper Brake Pipe Size

Hi, I need to replace all the copper brake pipes on my 69 us import fastback.

Does anybody know the correct size diameter of copper brake pipe I need?

3/16 is the correct size. They were originally steal pipes, though for standard brakes a copper replacement is much better. I coat mine with grease every year to prevent corrosion

Different quality of male and female fittings too.
lesser quality fittings have sharp coarse uneven threads.
Good quality fittings have a smoother type thread, that work nicely
into wheel cylinders ect.
