What is the correct way to fit the Metal Trim Insert to a Type 3 Windscreen Rubber please ?
Does the Windscreen and have to be removed from the car, or can it be done in situ ?

Rubber onto glass
trim into rubber (but not joining piece)
Rubber/glass/trim assembly into car
Joining piece goes in last
Some of the older manuals advocate putting a sting into the trim groove with the aid of a curved bit of brake pipe
